Jubilee Conference – Celebrating 50 Years of the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

2 Chronicles 5:11-14

“All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—
stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres.
They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

“He is good; his love endures forever.”

Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.”

This was our prayer as we came together in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center for the “Rivers of Living Water” Jubilee Conference, celebrating 50 years of the outpouring of the the Holy Spirit through the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Three worship teams came together for this historic conference to sing the praises of the Lord!  Living Praise was honored to worship with the Hispanic Worship Team, Ministerio de Alabanza Agua Viva, under Arturo Cervantes Nuño and the Haitian Worship Team with Jean-Robert Thémistocle, Gilbert Dabady, Jean-Anthony Jean-Baptiste & the Group, Effusion.

We experienced the passage from 2 Chronicles 5!  We sang with ONE VOICE and the glory of the Lord came down!

The Conference was filled with powerful and encouraging talks on how we as Spirit-filled Christians need to move out bringing the Kingdom of God with power, signs and wonders, miracles to all those we encounter.  We are in a new season and the Lord is pouring out tremendous graces for evangelization!  He wants all people to know and experience His love and salvation – and we (all believers) are the people He is equipping to do this work!

We had a tremendous experience as well of a Eucharistic Procession on Saturday night.  Over 6000 people processed from the conference through the streets of Pittsburgh and over the 6th Street Bridge bringing the Presence of Jesus throughout the city.  Passing through the water walk way at the Convention Center and then crossing the bridge was a surreal re-enactment of crossing through the Red Sea as the Lord parted it and then crossing over the Jordan River!  The Lord reigns and we ARE seeing His GLORY!
